Terms of Service
Last updated June 2026
Unthrottled is a tool for analyzing PC stress-test logs. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Unthrottled.
The service
Unthrottled reads your sensor logs, scores each run, and offers tuning suggestions. It is provided on an "as is" basis, and we may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time.
Plans, ads, and payment
Unthrottled is free to use today, and the free service may be supported by advertising. We may introduce one or more paid plans, for example a premium tier with a recurring subscription fee that removes ads and may add features or higher usage limits. Plan names, prices, features, and limits may change over time. Where a plan involves payment, the specific terms and pricing shown to you at the time of purchase apply, and fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. Provide accurate information when you sign up.
Acceptable use
- Only upload logs and data that you have the right to share.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data.
- Do not use Unthrottled for anything unlawful, or to upload malicious or infringing content.
We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
Your content
You keep ownership of the runs, builds, and text you submit. You grant us the permission needed to store and process that content so we can provide the service to you (see our privacy policy). If you submit a rating with a positive score, you agree we may publish it (shown by your first name or username) on our site; ask us and we will remove it.
Tuning advice and hardware risk
Unthrottled's findings, scores, and suggestions are informational only. They are not professional, engineering, or safety advice, and they are not a guarantee that any change is safe for your hardware. This applies both to the built-in analysis and to any AI-generated suggestions, which can be incomplete or wrong.
Adjusting fan curves, power limits, voltages, clocks, overclocks, or undervolts, or otherwise acting on Unthrottled's output, can cause instability, data loss, reduced component lifespan, voided warranties, or permanent damage to your hardware. You act on any suggestion entirely at your own risk. You alone are responsible for deciding whether a change is appropriate for your specific hardware, for verifying it independently, and for monitoring your system afterward.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unthrottled and its operators accept no liability for any damage, loss, or harm of any kind arising from advice provided by the service (including any AI features) or from changes you make to your system.
No warranty
The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that analysis is accurate, complete, or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Unthrottled and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any hardware damage, arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You can stop using Unthrottled and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continuing to use Unthrottled after an update means you accept the updated terms.
